I've got a screenshot of my Firestarter face to face with a Jenner! Thankfully a teammate blasted him off the top of the HPG!

Also posted more pics on the Mech Corp page for Synergy which I am a member of...I hope we can get more of our members to join it next time, it was fun!

I love the vids guys and you guys are starting to make me want to start doing filming as well. It would be awesome if a bunch of us did filming then we could do montage's of our battles and such. I've been in so many great matches while running in SMM that I think seeing the battles through others' eyes would be fun and very helpful for players to learn from.
Side note @Tesunie: We should film when we start CW with TRO and make journal entries and such for the RP Forums. Could be fun! Just a thought...

I am currently incapable (never tried it before) of recording. I'd be afraid I'd be pushing my computer too far playing and recording. So, I'll leave this to people more capable than I.
As for Journal logs in an RP fashion, I'd be all for that. Could be loads of fun!

(AWESOME VIDEOS)
Yes!! Those are great and I would definitely be up to helping getting footage for these types of videos.

That's fine, I can do filming. Journal logs for TRO will be loads of fun to write just to document our CW career, expecially if all of us write them to get the different perspectives and playstyles that we have.

I'm all for writing up logs. Sounds like fun. I'll leave any video work to you then though...

How was this achieved? Did you guys simply ignore mech-tonnage-skill balancing, or was this a continuation of Tesunie's experimental balancing method, or else?

We did the one-for-one swaps. I think we just lucked out in having mostly balanced games.

My balancing system hasn't really been tested yet. The one time we tried it, people kept coming and going (which is fine), and people kept changing mechs to "balance tonnage". However, the few matches were this didn't happen, it did seem to work. We just need to do 1 switch for every lance in place, even if it's a partial lance. (Example, if there are 5 players on each team, two would still need to be switched.) At least initially until teams seem to balance out.
I still want to give it a try and see if it may work. It needs far more testing before I can determine if tonnage is a key to balanced play, or if skill/familiarity with a specific chassis is more key...
