Cause this game feels grindy as hell atm to me.
Im grinding cash for mechs, cash for improving those mechs, cash for modules, grinding gxp for all mechs and to me one of the worst parts is grinding xp on mechs that you have no intention of keeping, its just to gain mastery for the chasis.
So, my first thought is, increasing the number of achievements and their regularity.
Example.. The first one on the list, destroying components, the benchmarks are:
10
100
1000
10000
Does this really need to be that steep? Cant ya throw in a dozen or so more benchmarks where you award cbills or xp?
At the moment, im happy to pull 150K Cbills outta a game, but that's typically it, if an achievement pops up, that's cool, but its so rare, that its all but ignorable.
I do not think you should get an acheivement after every single game, but surely there is more of a middle ground than what we currently have.
I'm not gonna get into altering mech prices or MC costs, that's a bit trickier. This suggestion hurts no one, can be granted easily after the fact to anyone that already has surpassed a new benchmark and gives players a chance to possibly work toward more achievements realistically.
Does anyone else have any other simple suggestions to help reduce grind (avoid altering mech costs kinda concepts, cause i think those would be harder to get changed).
Let's Find Simple Suggestions To Alleviate The "grindy" Feel To The Game.

Agreed,
I just started playing MWO about 45 days ago. A colleage of mine has been playing since it came out and got me started as I needed a change in my online gaming. I love the game so far, but I am finding the same issue as Daegog. Especially as a noob at the game, while I am consistantly improving the grind is slow to earn enough to buy 3 of the same model of mech. Especially when your preferrence is the heavy and assult mechs. The achievements help a great deal, maybe there is a way to help the grind along. It is frustrating to get hit when the mech shooting you is too far away to see. Would really like to get to the advanced zoom mod, but it is going to take quiet a while at this pace.
