Hail,

Mechlab wants to charge me 20k+ in CBills to put Max Armour on my Mech? Even though I am not at Max Armour or Tonnage.

Watch very carefully before you checkout, you maybe getting bogus CBill charges.

Captured proof here: http://www.twitch.tv..._osis/c/4151501

If you run out of stockpiled armor points, it will charge you for adding more. This is normal and expected behavior.

It is not bogus, and not a bug

Where do you check that in Inventory?

You can't. You used to be able to with UI 1.5. Since you cannot sell armor, it is hidden from everyone in UI 2.0.

Technically, if you've never sold a mech, you will always end up buying more armor. If you have sold a bunch of mechs, it's actually very difficult for that to occur normally.

Ok, so I just stripped the Armour off a couple of Mechs that I do not use and still it wants me to purchase it and since I cannot manage that resource they should not be charging CBills for it.

I had this Mech at Max Armour before, seems to me like a bogus charge associated with UI2.0

Is it the same kind of armor? It keeps track of FF and Std individually.

Hail,

You bet, same armour as I stripped 274 points of FF off my non used X-5. This highlights a lack of clarity is what is being charged. I even just stripped a Standard Armour Mech bare and it still made no difference and wants me to pay for more Armour that I already own.

Hail,

I take that back, it took 15 minutes to update and now I can use the FF Armour. If I had not waited, I would have burned 20k+ in CBills.

Next time, remember that patience is a virtue. Logging out and back in would likely have worked too. But I've never had it take time to update like that.

Seyla,

It should not take 15 minutes for that to occur. It probably would help to close out MWO entirely.

I logged in earlier today just to collect on the double XP. I'm finding that updating after making purchases (just modules) is getting a lot slower. I'm not sure what to pin that on, but that's not a good sign if you have to wait that long for such a change.
