It was disabled/not there, they enabled it. It's better than nothing, but should be a gui option.

Better change this real soon, or there is going to be another wave of Operation Exodus happening.

I cannot begin to tell you of the friends that contacted me in TS after they patched, unaware they would not be able to choose the game mode.. The comments I heard were not good, NONE of them.

Enable "choose game mode" in Public matches, or watch what the player base does next.

Reading these is like its the children hour. Your having trouble getting in public games well what a surprise as everyone is trying out private games and since the patch just kicked in there won't be the full population on yet. They stated quite awhile ago that private games you will not earn c bills or exp. yet for some of you it's a sudden surprise?.There are going to be bugs, there always will be, they will fix them. I'd like to see a stock only mech mode, hopefully they add that down the road if not I wont be heart broken. Some people though, funny guy with a location that says "Stop the Whining" posts page of whines. Someone with total of what 6 posts comes on, tells us all how terrible it all is and he is uninstalling , humm 6 whole posts...I've forgotten his name already....bye. Give it time, remember it's just another step and we have had far worse patches than this...

Haven't had any problems with pug matches (after 3333 got disabled)

I loved it! Periphery style combat - when you don't have enough mech or pilots for them.
(should be a game mode)
