Hey guys,
I'm looking for a good group to run with and learn MWO. I've played other mechwarrior games mainly on PC but console as well. No preferred roles, just want a crew that teaches right before i learn wrong.

Check out www.house-marik.net! One of the largest, friendliest, and most organized groups out there. We specialize in the New Player Experience and have many units to join so you can be the 'You Who Shoots at Robots' that you always wanted to be.

Hello Ash!

Please refer to this sub-directory, regarding factions!

You'll also notice a sub-thread there name "hiring hall" where you can post what you said just now.

Happy Hunting and Good Luck!

I think most of the posters here know who Im talking about...

Lots of good people in alot of units in this game. Even though Ive been part of FWLM pretty much since the start, go poke around the threads mwhighlander suggested.

Something I find effective is noticing if there's exceptional players, or players that are nice talk with the team. You can say "Anyone want to group up after this?" Even if no one answers due to the heat of battle, you can friend them after the match and roll together. I've met all kinds of cool people doing that.

Check out Merc units, too! Some of us just want C-Bills to spend on booze and shiny objects!

A number of Merc units are more hardcore/competitive (which basically involves killing things, since CW isn't here yet) but there are also some really laid back ones who have good players...that enjoy drinking while piloting and don't freak out if they lose.

Like the Kell Hounds. *cough*
