Maybe I'm missing something, but I go into "Store", then "Battlemechs", and I see a ton of mechs...but find no way to see any details on them beyond price. The only option is "Buy".

With multiple variants of each frame type it seems a bit weird if we can't get more info on a mech before buying it!

You can, just not in the Store.

In the Mech Lab, change the filter (upper left part of screen) to Purchasable, then find the 'Mech you want info on. Mouse over it and you'll get the information flyout. You can find out where each of the hardpoints is by clicking Mech Details in the lower right part of the screen.

Actually unlike in the old shots, there's a "mech details" button now next to the 3D model. Pretty handy, you can press it on any mech.

You're welcome.

The "store" itself has not been finished. PGI's latest focus has been meeting the Clan mech deadline they set for themselves, Launch Module, and Community Warfare.

Launch Module and CW are done by the same people responsible for finishing the User Interface. The mechlab can handle your purchasing needs for now.

Also try Smurfy. Handy little thingy. E is energy, B is ballistic, M is missile, and there are others too.

Found a shot of the "Mech Details" page opened up. Very Smurfy-like.

Yup, The store is pretty vague. I hope besides the Hit registration , the UI is on the list of important feature updates.

Once you've actually BOUGHT the mech, that 'mech details' still appears in your mechlab. You can use it to quickly assess what you've got on a mech, and can also check what modules you have on it.
