I love that too, at last there´s something positive to say about changes happening to MWO now - on the other hand, they said to fix this matter about 3-4 months ago wasn´t it? Well, anyways even though it´s more like a "want to fix it? do it yourself" option, it still is highly appreciated.

I'm very happy that cockpit glass can be turned off.

The ability to create private matches is also very cool.

Thanks for creating a positive thread OP.

I have played Mech games for a long time. Played MW3 until they took the lobby off the Zone. Then we hijacked one of the MW4 lobbies for another year and change. (Thanks to Wolverine, wherever he may be)

I always found the most thrilling games for me were the 1 v 1's and 2 v 2's in CZ league play. And every day or two a few of us hardcore C1 pilots would have a go at C1 Dropship 1 v 1.

And the game would last 45 minutes to an hour for a ten kill game. Finish 10-9 for someone, and we didn't care who won.
I describe it to non MW3 pilots as Olympic style fencing, with lasers. Feint, counter feint, only striking a full hit after forcing your opponent in to an error. Most intense gaming experience I have had in 15 years of on line gaming.

Yesterday I launched a private match with one of my gaming friends, who while not being a previous title mech pilot, shows great potential. Energy Jenner vs. energy Firestarter. Had a couple friends observing. Game finished with me scoring over 250 damage, he had over 230. In a 1 v 1 with light mechs that have a max armour of 238.

AND IT WAS FRIKKIN GLORIOUS!!!!!!!

If only I could set number of kills..... but that's another thing.

My point is, I have waited over ten years to find that rush again. Thank you PGI, for making this possible.

I can dance again! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MW:O art department is top notch. Rarely if ever see any complaints about the art. Keep up the good work.

I approve of this thread...

I get fed up same as most of you but vastly prefer to say nice things where possible. This patch = definitely possible! Not a magic wand total fix but a step in the right direction and I love how the "Lobby" system seems to be shaping up.

Carry On!

Modules are easy to equip & unequip in private matches.
