Dear all.

My user config does not appear to be working, could anyone advise me on what is wrong.

My user config is installed in the root folder for mechwarrior online

'user.cfg'

I have unticked read only:

cl_fov = 95
gp_option_ShowCockpitGlass=0
r_DepthOfField=0
r_HDRGrainAmount=0.0


Why isn't this working ?

Do you have Windows set up so you can see file extensions?

Make sure the file isn't user.cfg.txt Also, 95 may be higher than the max value for cl_fov. I know that the cockpit glass option worked for me, but I haven't tried the depth of field or grain amount yet.

use the system cfg file. it does the same thing as user cfg(which doesn't exist). I believe you can even use the override cfg, but just don't change what was already in there, or big bad Russnewb will haunt you in your sleep because you ruined the (in)stability of his game.
