I can't figure out what 'Mechs has what level of XP or what elite it has if I do not own the 'Mech, anyone help?

(Keeping track of this was MUCH easier in the old UI)

At the top of the page click 'Skills.' A column should appear with the 4 different weight classes. Select one, and choose the mech you want to look at.

You'll see skillsets for Basic, Elite, and Master. Your XP is on the left towards the bottom.

To start putting XP in Elite, you must have 3 variants of ONE Chassis all full on Basic (I.e., 3 DIFFERENT variants of the same mech...3 jenners, 3 atlases, etc).

To put XP into Master, you need at least 3 mechs completely Elited in the same WEIGHT CLASS. They CAN be all the same (3 atlases) but you could also have 3 different mechs (1 atlas, 1 stalker, 1 battlemaster). It's PGI's way of letting you grind a chassis all through basic, then choose to master just one, if you want.

So I go into the skills option. ~ Check.
I select the light bar on the left-hand side of the screen ~Check
I select the jenner, which I know I have unlocked Mastery on previous ~ Check.

Nothing, it does not say anything at all about the level of mastery I have on that 'Mech.

Skills > Light > Jenner > click Mech Tree for whichever MODEL of Jenner you want to check. There's a colored wing/star emblem to tell you how high up it is. Master is gold.

It only tells you about the models you CURRENTLY OWN. If you had previous mechs and sold them, you'd have to buy them again to check. This game was not designed for people to sell mechs, it was designed for you to break down and buy more mechbays for the additional mechs you collect.

But why change that, when the old UI allowed me to track such statistics?

You need to own the chassis (at the moment you're checking) to see the XP you have for it. Otherwise you won't be able to see it until you purchase the mech again.

It's really annoying.

We'll add this to the list of questions that start with "WHY!?!" as it regards to UI 2.0.
