But please consider that with increasing numbers of mechs, the effort of balancing all mechs is becoming harder and harder (not to say futile).
Already there are some mechs that are almost NEVER used. The best example is the quickdraw. I feel I see 3 jaegers in each game (3/24), but only 0,3 quickdraws (both heavies).
Now that with the new drop-rules the issue with everyone using assaults is out of the way, maybe you could use your statistics and rank the mechs by their overall useage. For the least used mechs there could be a boost to xp-gain or credit-gain. Or a "+30% credits for your quickdraw-Day" or whatever.
Long story short:
1) making all mechs balanced could be futile
2) leaving some mechs outright better than others is a waste of time for playes and programmers (why buy/play the mech vs why program/model/balance it if noone uses it)
3) a VARIABLE boost depending on the daily usage to the least used = worst Mechs could help treat the symptoms, if not the cause.
