For all of us MechWarrior and BattleTech fans, here's a music video I created over the weekend. 20 minutes of MechWarrior love.

Watch on YouTube for full 1080p HD...

Enjoy. :)

How long did this take you? I like your enthusiasum for the game. The beauty of the battletech story is it grabs you by the balz! If not you are are a clanner riding a pony.

Thanks. It took several hours over the weekend to make it. But picking all of the media ahead of time took a little longer. :)

Thanks for the positive feedback. You guys rock. :)

Does anyone have any suggestions on tweaking the video? Or know of any cool MW video footage to include? I have the project in Premiere so I can tweak things if anyone has some good ideas.

only thing I can say is to replace whatever music you are using for gregorian chants. maby try that in the next one.

Serously, I turned off the music to that, found some chants and it turned in to the most amazing mixture of serenity and epic combat that I my head asploded. :)

Yeah, I know not everyone is going to like the same music. I included this music because it's pretty good progressive metal, it's a sleeper band/song that's from the 90s, so not everyone knows about it, and its length was perfect for what I wanted to do in the video.

At any rate, the video is synced to transition as the music changes across the length of that epicly long song.

Can't wait for MWO, lol! :P

Nothing wrong with Symphony X! Plus, where else are you going to find a music track long enough?

Other prog metal. Dream Theater, etc. Or just put together a couple songs from the same album.

wait, that was one whole track? thought it was several different ones seeing as it seemed to totally change every few mins.

Yup, it was multiple parts to the same song: http://en.wikipedia....ings_of_Tragedy (one "track") ;)

Progressive metal is awesome. ;)

One of my favorites from Dream Theater is 14 and a half minutes long:
