Private Match Won't Start

Whenever my friends and I try and start a private match by clicking the READY button in the top right, instead of starting the match, it just turns the lobby leader's status to NOT READY.

We can't seem to start a match. At all. Very annoying. How do we fix it? We've been waiting a long time to be able to dual one another, and now we still can't it would seem.

You have players set up on both sides, with both team leaders having Premium Time activated? That's the only way you'll be able to have teams of less than 12 on each side.
