I just finished eliting shadowhawks and I am looking for a new mech. I have a std 275, xl 330, xl 320, and xl 275. I have used trebuchets, cicadas, and shadowhawks plus a catapult C1. Any suggestions? I have been considering wolverines, griffins, catapults, and ravens. I am open to suggestions though. I would prefer something at that goes at least 64.8 kph with either the stock engine or one I own that can carry energy hardpoints and something else. No assaults unless you can make a good case for one that is agile.

Edit:
Builds
Quickdraw: [smurfy]http://mwo.smurfy-ne...a59aa113bf1d191[/smurfy] or cookiemonster's build

Raven: [smurfy]http://mwo.smurfy-ne...22d958c237f5936[/smurfy]

If you got the free thunderbolt, get two more and master those.

You could also branch into assaults; Highlanders, Stalkers, Banshees, or Atlases will offer you an interesting departure from what you're used to. For lights, you could go for Firestarters or Jenners, in addition to considering the Raven.

Ok if you liked the mobility of shadowhawks and trebs, try the quickdraw,5k is the best variant and is a great c-bill alternative to Jester when paired with XL330,2 large lasers,4 mediums and 2 jumpjets, just change FF armor to normal and add endosteel and stuff it with heatsinks, should cost about 6.8 mil c-bills total if you have XL in hand, not a expensive experiment.

I decided to get a quickdraw 5k. Not a huge fan of it but not horrible. I will need to finish getting endo steel though.
build: [smurfy]http://mwo.smurfy-ne...62a545abd7e76d9[/smurfy]
only need like 100, 000 more c bills.

Due to the skirmisher nature of the mech (hit hard, get to cover, swing round, do it again) you have more time to cool off, and you might want to think about cutting 2 heat sinks for more jets.

At the very least, I would stick the LLasers in the Arms, rather than the torso. You do NOT want those to be in the torso with the Mlas when you could put them in the arms and take advantage of the more accurate and greater range provided by arm lasers (I practically swear by arm lasers over torso lasers wherever possible, so take that as you will). Of course, this is just my opinion.

Quickies arms get blown off quite easily, and torso hardpoints are quite high,so you can do hillhumping with it if thats your thing
