hey guys, im sorry if this is clearly stated someplace. But im pretty new to BT and the lore, so i dont have a solid knowledge. but my question is

Can anyone please break down the New Clan Mech Weight Classes? (is adder an assualt? etc.)

You're Welcome!.. And if you want to learn more about the Battletech/Mechwarrior universe I suggest reading the various novels. However you may need to look in used bookstores for them as many stores no longer carry them.

Also keep in mind a lot of clan weaponry is lighter.

For example using IS tonnage:

Timber Wolf
75 Tons

460 FF w/ ENDO = 16.8 Tons
375 XL = 26.5 Tons
2x ER LLAS = 10 Tons
2x ER MLAS = 2 Tons
2x LRM 20 = 20 Tons
Assume 3 Tons LRM Ammo
2x MG = 1 Ton
Assume 1 Ton MG Ammo
1x MPL = 2 Tons
7 external DHS = 7 Tons

Total = 82+ tons

That's 82+ IS tons running at close to 90 kph after speed tweak, btw... More firepower and faster than a Victor? Nerfs be damned, that thing is going to be fun to drive.
