This may have been posted some other location or before if so very sorry.
This is in regards to mechs with up and lower arm acuaters firing from such a low body arch. Mechs that have these are supposed to have the benefit of controlling their firing arch where as those with out are fixed firing arch. That is not the case in MWO. A random gofer crossing the path of your average Boers head, spells fail for them because of the terrain obstruction for the arm mounted weapons while your friendly neighborhood Jager will fire over it with no issues. Aka the Atlas is firing from the hip where as the Jeger will fire from the shoulder clearing the terran feature.
Suggestion: Give those mechs with uper and lower arm acuaters the mechanic of raising or lowering point of fire for arm mounted weapons. This could be done with a mouse weal option much like locking and unlocking arms . With a small % based meter showing from 0 to 100 representing sholder lvl (aka arm out straight or even overhead) to (Firing from the hip).
