How often are you (developers) going to turn off the server? Twice a week?
You earn a lot of money. We pay you money!
Build a mirror server and make maintenance parallel!

Ofcourse you are a good guys and still continues to improve the game but it looks like you pay more atention to "How to earn more money without doing anything?"

Before launching next patch please run it at your computers and pay atention to details.

You have made a great game and i like it very much. Thank you!

So please let me have fun 24 houres a day and don't upset me with offline server!

Sincerely yours
Golovastik )

I personally would rather timely updates and fixes than having to wait weeks for fixes. Today is a patch Tuesday anyway.

The servers go offline every tuesday and friday at 10am PDT for routine maintenance and such. That normally only takes a couple of minutes. Every second tuesday(usually) is a patch day where the 10am downtime might take longer, depending on the size of the patch.

...and again....the "hotfix" only addressed issues used by private matches....which means, organized players. Yeah, sure, some of us PUGgers might throw a 2v2 together or something, but the organized players are the ones really using it.

Face it, us "unwashed masses" don't rate as high on the priority chain as the organized players and their respective leagues are concerned.

We're gonna be stuck with this mess for a LONG time.

What are you even talking about ? There is ONE fix in the patch-notes that's exclusive to private matches and oh boy is it a big fix, the ready/launch button now works, halleluja...

Totally explains how all the changes to the matchmaking for the last 1.5 years are all done to make the PUGgers experience better while screwing groups over and over again.

Get real.

Seriously? The adoption of this "Elo" thing...which has never worked since it was first implemented..was to make the PUGgers experience better?

Hey, I'll be the first to admit that private matches are EXACTLY what the organized groups and leagues were looking for and I'm happy for them but...there are so many things that make the game virtually unplayable for solo droppers that not only haven't ever been addressed, they've been made worse.

The whole idea of dropping people into the midrange after they finish their cadet matches was a horrible one...and has never been fixed. The concept of your Elo changing happens so slowly that it might not be happening at all.

With the Private Matches, assuming you've bought premium time, allows you to make sure teams are balanced before you launch the game...PUG matches, not so much. In fact, the MM goes so far as to put multiple premade groups on the same tem to ensure that the PUGs on the other team get punished for playing without a group.

And now...now we have 12 man premade groups dropping into matches with the PUGs. Pretty sweet....that almost HAS to be an on purpose.

I hope you're taking advantage of the MM right now if you play in groups. Now is your opportunity to get out there and just tear the PUGs up for cbills. Do it while you can. Eventually something will be done to fix it or there just won't be any PUGs to beat up on left. One or the other.

I never said that any of the MM variations actually did make PUGgers life any better. However they were meant to. While all that units got from PGI over same 1.5 years was one big FU.

Private matches are smth that people asked for, not just units but solo droppers as well. Problem is, just like everything PGI does, its just another moneygrab unless of course you are blessed to have exactly 23 friends online at all times.

12-man don't play vs random PUG on purpose, nor do they want to. When I'm in a 12 all we want is to practice our setups, coordination, etc. Right now we can't. We are forced to form 3/3/3/3 that is ret@rded for a 12-man team anyway and we are forced to play 12 randoms, who pose no resistance whatsoever. 12-man queue is pointless right now. Your statement about MM favoring groups (either on purpose or not) is completely false.

And you should stop the 'evil premades are out there to ruin my PUG day' attitude. It really got old long ago.
