I set up an mech, got no warnings and checked out. Then I got an Loadout Error only saying Alert: Error. Nothing more. And I'm unable to launch the mech.

See image for error and mech config.

Just noticed that I actually have XL engine and PPC + 3x double HS in the right torso. Removing one fix the problem.

Don't know how this happend though, but aparently it is possible to mount multiple equipment and weapons in the same slots.

It's an old bug creeping back into the game with the new UI... I've had this happen several times since the last 3 patches, which usually involves it adding an extra heatsink. I use double heatsinks on all my Mechs so I cannot confirm (nor wish to spend Cbills) if this is specific to Single or Double heatsinks.

Happens on my TDRs all the time. Usually sticks something I've removed back on after I've saved. No consistency as to what; I've had it with heat sinks, weapons and even engines once. The engine one actually crashed my game when I tried to fix it, forcing me to use the Strip Mech option.

It's fairly easy to bug the mechlab, especially if you exit and re-enter the lab very quickly or have a bout of packet loss.

Generally stripping it and rebuilding it will solve any issue.

I've had that happen too, ended up with two engines equipped at once.
