Since I was helping out someone new to MWO, and decided to play the same mechs they did (except Jenner cause my computer cant handle lights) I decided to try the Orion out. For my first match with it I got 691 damage with it (on Terra Therma), I was just breezing through people. It's a nice solid mech like many of the other champion mechs, and it was nice to have some good mechs to help ease someone into the game.

I never touched Orion until this trial one and all I can say is - wow ! ;)
It is almost perfectly balanced and really fun to play. After 5-6 matches with trial one I went and bought K variant right away.

By the way, which other 2 variant can you suggest me to buy ?
Thanks

orion -1v is pretty solid , also I like the VA but that's debateable in most eyes , I haven't used the protecter but a lot seem to like it . I never liked the k but didn't fit my play style.

Nice Mech !
I like his quiet "small" body for a 75 ton mech.
I'm looking forward to buy one...
