So the prime variants come with an own unique unchangable skin I heard?

is that true?

And if, what about the prime Moduls.

Someone preordering the Nova gets:

Prime variant
Variant 1
Variant 2

Now the mech Variant itself is defined by the Torsos variant.

but the arm parts of each variant may very likely differ.

I am quite sure, the prime variant can equip Variant 1 and 2 parts.

Lets now say, I want those 6 ER Medium lasers on each arm, but I want to repaint my mech.
This would require me to use Torso variant 1 or 2.
But is this possible? can someone who preordered the Nova use prime moduls on non prime Torsi? Or will "prime" Moduls like prime arm left, prime arm right, and the L/R torso not be interchangable

So example:

left arm prime, right arm prime, centertorso variant A?

That is a good question...I'll assume it will depend on the CT though. All parts will get the paint the CT has. So, prime torso gets the pre-order design, LAa and RAb will also get the same pre-order design if the three are equipped together.

They have unique geometry, which means their leg armor might be rounded off instead of boxy etc...

They can however change camo and all that, don't know about gold though.

They can change the color of the camo, but not the pattern itself, just like the Founders, Phoenix, and Hero mechs.

I haven't seen anything to make me assume the Prime modules aren't interchangeable. Do keep in mind the Prime variants will more than likely also be released for c-bills, but won't have the 30% c-bill bonus, exclusive geometry, or exclusive camo pattern, just like was done with Founders and Phoenix variants.

Assuming prime mechs are like all the other hero/founder/phoenix mechs, you will not be able to change the camo pattern but you will be able to change colors.

Based on the info here: http://mwomercs.com/...d-construction/

You will be able to swap the omnipods (the pieces of equipment that determine a clan mech's hardpoints) of a select configuration (the clan version of variants) with those from another configuration.

Going by the example you gave. You should be able to take your Nova Prime and strip the prime-omnipods out of the arms.
Then you can go to your Nova Config. A, remove the A-omnipods from it's arms and replace them with prime-omnipods. Thus giving your Nova Config. A the same arm-hardpoints as your Nova Prime.

Since the Prime mechs that you're purchasing from the clan pack are just the prime configuration with the added C-bill bonuses, I don't see a reason why their omnipods would be different from the non-Prime omnipods.

It is a question of how the game is designed, especially the mechlab. it can be, since the prime variants/pods are buy2play they may be reistricted not to be used interchangable.

For me, this would be a reason if I may buy them or not. But actually the whle Clanner things is so much of a vague "product description", its like saiyng: I sell a car for only 6000$ no speaking about any technical aspects of it except mbe telling: fuel tank is 50l and top speed is 200kph. ah and yeah it got 4 tires.

Would it make sense writing to the support about this? or where in the forum is a proper place to ask this? the FAQ section is read only. And a real official topic where to ask specific questions about them seems not to exist.

They want your money, not your questions.

I am refraining from buying a package as well because everything is so vague. Although all their development is vague so I'll just keep my money in my pocket.
