Pretty straight forward, I haven't used the hunchback 4H for a while and when i began piloting it again (it has buccaneer paint) i noticed that it had changed from when i bought it.

The back of the hunchies pod used to read head hunter, it now reads man o war.

Minor detail but i see that people buy, with their own money something like paint based entirely on what i looks like, and don't much approve of it being changed without my permission, man o war and headhunter don't bother me so much its that acts like this may be repeated or may already have.

Its essentially fraud tampering and false advertising.

I've heard they'll refund a single use of MC, if you want to go that route. I personally would save it for something better, but hey.

(FWIW, I agree that when they alter cosmetics they ought to do a blanket refund to all who purchased the item. There would be issues with sale price vs. normal price and all, but nonetheless.)

Except that you agree to their terms before you play the game, and their terms say they can change anything they want at any time with no obligation to give you a refund.

Dontcha' love digital goods! :D

They will give you a single MC refund though if you like, but only once.

I wasn't sure what you were saying initially, but I recently purchased a HBK-4H.

The Buckaneer Camo scheme does say "Man of War" on the back (fitting considering nautical them), but say it used to say "Head Hunter"?

I am not sure what is weirder, the fact they bothered to change it, that it originally said head hunter, that I cannot find any text (for buckaneer) on any other mech in my inventory, or that you noticed.

Shady business practises.

Their agreement is basically "You give us money, and in exchange we can do whatever we want, whenever we want, and you cant complain because you agreed to it all in fine print."
