I hope that PGI realises that a large portion of their playerbase is not able to play now during their x2 xp event.

There is a problem with the launcher making it say that you need to patch the game, then it starts to download over 4GB.

When its finally done and you hit play you get to the login screen where it says that you have the wrong version and you need to patch. The launcher now patches 3 smaller patches (if you are lucky, otherwise you get the 4GB again) and then you might possibly get in to play some matches.

But as soon as you close MWO and then restart it the launcher will again require you to patch the 4GB and the procedure repeats itself.

I checked around and most of my friends have the same problem.

It is very unfortunate since we miss most of the x2 xp event and our premium time is still ticking away while people are unable to play.

Now it works properly again..unfortunately a little late for the x2 event
