Are the Beagel /UAV and the 360 degree retention broken? UAV is not giving Counter ECM Bonus anymore...and had been countered by ECM. Beagel did not Counter the ECM. There was only one ECM and 2 Beagel didn t Counter it. Did somebody else make these experience?

I've had times were my BAP didn't seem to disable an enemy's ECM unit. I just chalked it up to there being another ECM unit nearby I wasn't noticing... :D

Don't use UAVs, so I can't say anything on them.

On a match last night one of my teammates popped a UAV up on HPG Manifold... it clearly showed all their mechs clustered together, including their two ECM capable Mechs. Beagle Active Probe will only counter ECM within a specific radius, and only 1 ECM at a time in case you're in the bubble of two 2 ECM Mechs... BAP also doesn't counter ECM if you have ECM also equipped, at that point it extends your sensor/radar range and target info gathering... 360 Retention module works flawlessly from my perspective... handy to have when dealing with pesky Light mechs.

K. There must have been someone else hiding in our 1 vs 1 privat match game or he had 2 ECM installed secretly so it still worked at 50m.

BAP range is lower than ECM range. Is it possible that you were in ECM range but out of BAP range?

BAP is only effective within 120 or 180 meters to cancel 1 ECM, not sure which range though... I think it's half the effective range of ECM countering ECM... logically that would make it 120... don't quote me, it's hot and my brain is fried lol fml

We tested all again in a privat match. With ECM/UAV/Beagel/360 detention. All working. Possibel that we realy oversaw something.

Taking about UAV... When was the last time anyone saw a UAV on the mini map ??

I mean in the past I recall I would first see the icon on the mini-map and then try to find it in the sky to shoot it down.
Nowadays... I always tend to spot UAVs in the sky first without any indication in the mini map. To the point that I can't recall when I last an enemy UAV icon on the mini map..

They are definitely used more nowadays...

I have never seen an enemy UAV on my minimap. I've only ever been able to see friendly UAVs. (Of course, I might not have been close enough to it or something, as I'm not expert.)

Hmmm... Did PGI accidentally bug it up when they fix the UAV icon ? You used to be able to see in the mini map when you are close enough to it....

I mean when we are being hit by LRM rain due to UAV spotting... Should we normally be close enough to see it on the mini-map ? Hmmm....

No idea. I wasn't even aware one could see enemy UAVs on the minimap... :)

no, enemy UAV does not show on your minimap, they do however glow red, about 300-600m in the air.

Ok... The next time I see an enemy UAV.. Instead of shooting it down... I going to run under it to see whether it shows up in the mini map... Smells like it is broken...

Dude... They are suppose too.. In fact they used too !! That's why people were all confused by the turrets having the UAV icon when they were first introduced. LOL... Nvm... Let me test it out when I can.

Ok I think I was in a game where I saw it last night... Just need to be really close but pending further verification.
Not sure if it become invisible from radar if, its too high.

had a match 3 r 4 weeks ago where there was three mechs left, enemy spider, me in a streak griffon and a friendly battlemaster, Beagle flat out refused to cut through ECM and the little ratbag took me down.

Also may have had some seismic sensors fails but I'm not to sure about those yet. Uninstalling then re-installing the module seemed to fix it but Im not certain

Question, was the section where your BAP was in damaged to internals? It might have been destroyed/disabled... B)

But otherwise, this does seem to be an occasional glitch I've been seeing. It doesn't have any consistency or reason, but sometimes it just doesn't seem to want to disable that ECM nearby... (Could be for many reasons, some might be glitch, some might be "another ECM mech was nearby" or even "BAP was destroyed"...)

Keep in mind seismic sensors only work when you are stationary.
