Don't use UAVs, so I can't say anything on them.

On a match last night one of my teammates popped a UAV up on HPG Manifold... it clearly showed all their mechs clustered together, including their two ECM capable Mechs. Beagle Active Probe will only counter ECM within a specific radius, and only 1 ECM at a time in case you're in the bubble of two 2 ECM Mechs... BAP also doesn't counter ECM if you have ECM also equipped, at that point it extends your sensor/radar range and target info gathering... 360 Retention module works flawlessly from my perspective... handy to have when dealing with pesky Light mechs.

I mean in the past I recall I would first see the icon on the mini-map and then try to find it in the sky to shoot it down.
Nowadays... I always tend to spot UAVs in the sky first without any indication in the mini map. To the point that I can't recall when I last an enemy UAV icon on the mini map..
They are definitely used more nowadays...

I have never seen an enemy UAV on my minimap. I've only ever been able to see friendly UAVs. (Of course, I might not have been close enough to it or something, as I'm not expert.)

Hmmm... Did PGI accidentally bug it up when they fix the UAV icon ? You used to be able to see in the mini map when you are close enough to it....
I mean when we are being hit by LRM rain due to UAV spotting... Should we normally be close enough to see it on the mini-map ? Hmmm....

No idea. I wasn't even aware one could see enemy UAVs on the minimap...

Ok... The next time I see an enemy UAV.. Instead of shooting it down... I going to run under it to see whether it shows up in the mini map... Smells like it is broken...

Dude... They are suppose too.. In fact they used too !! That's why people were all confused by the turrets having the UAV icon when they were first introduced. LOL... Nvm... Let me test it out when I can.

had a match 3 r 4 weeks ago where there was three mechs left, enemy spider, me in a streak griffon and a friendly battlemaster, Beagle flat out refused to cut through ECM and the little ratbag took me down.
Also may have had some seismic sensors fails but I'm not to sure about those yet. Uninstalling then re-installing the module seemed to fix it but Im not certain

Question, was the section where your BAP was in damaged to internals? It might have been destroyed/disabled...

But otherwise, this does seem to be an occasional glitch I've been seeing. It doesn't have any consistency or reason, but sometimes it just doesn't seem to want to disable that ECM nearby... (Could be for many reasons, some might be glitch, some might be "another ECM mech was nearby" or even "BAP was destroyed"...)
