I haven't seen people using any kind of "bots". Some people use macros, but that's it. I have no idea what are you talking about.

I have thousands of drops in MWO and i have never seen anything i suspected of being "cheating"

Weird stuff happens sometimes but that is due to glitches or internet flakiness.

My two cents, anyway.

With how many variables there are in this game, I would expect that...

a. an aimbot would be unreliable
b. programming one would be a monstrous task/not worth the effort
c. anything you experience that might seem like you got cheated is really just something that you either didn't expect (like a dual-guass-dual-ppc sniper from a flank) or an interesting glitch (like the HBR's or bugged hitboxes, hitreg that passes through your mech and hits the opposite side, etc)

What are some specific scenarios that make you think a 3rd party software is at work?

On a serious note, I've been around since way early in the Closed Beta, and have yet to see "bots." I have seen macros, which is something else entirely (I'll keep my opinions on those to myself), but I've yet to see performance enhancing bots.
