Yes, I press "checkout", my C-Bills is decrease.
L.Pulse Laser Range worked as SensorRange? One time buy and use always?
IraqiWalker thank you, I will write in support.

These modules are supposed to stay equipped to the mech like sensor range and non-consumables. If it disappeared, that means it was a glitch.

The weapon range modules are hands-down inferior to all other alternatives. The reason is that you're looking at tier III of a five-tier (if I remember correctly) module progression system - and that these modules are intended for an expanded module system that subdivides modules into types. It sounds neat once it gets here, but in the mean time they had the modules ready and put them out to try and get some data on them or something.

I think it affects all versions of the large laser. But more importantly, don't buy it. None of the extended range modules are worth your precious GXP or Cbills. They give minimal increases at an unreasonable cost.

I wouldn't suggest buying them now as there's much better ways to use a module slot, but the heat increase is quite low for what you're getting in return, it makes the lasers more powerful and heat efficient beyond optimal range, at the cost of short range heat efficiency.
They're supposed to eventually go up to tier 5 so I'd assume by that point they'll be powerful enough to be a viable alternative to other modules. I know I'm not buying them until then.

yes, on a 6MG Jager or Ember or SDR-5K the machine gun module is very good. same for 3x ac10 cata Ilya since anyway they will be low heat. and ac20 heat penalty is so high when GH triggers that you are gonna chainfire, so in AC40 builds gaining some range doesn't hurt because you have 2ML or even 0 backup so no heat issues. OFC there are better modules. but on some mech they might be worth it on this kind of builds, once you equip the seismic sensor, other modules are nice but not really needed, so you can opt for more range. but generally they are for people with so much money to trow it around :) I got the MG one just for fun because I am out of mechbays.

I am still mastering and filling mech bays so the money isn't unlimited. However, I'm at the point where the GXP is pretty much unlimited. After having unlocked nearly all of the other modules I have started unlocking these. At least it gives something to do with that extra GXP lying around-and who knows? Maybe some day a patch will come that will make these things useful?
