It's been an "all in" tactic:

The main force on Delta 4 should have lured SJG in to the fight, while the Spiders run out behind them and take the base in abount 79 seconds: 45 s for the way to the enemy base and 34 s for the cap itself. Even if there was an enemy Raven, we could have achievement that, but anyway it would have been really, really close.

In the end we knew we wouldn't win an open brawl against SJR, because we are a mixed team out of a semi-progessive unit and SJR is a topnotch pro unit in MWO. So we took our chance and were unlucky, because TheMagican with his Shadowhawk did see one of our Spiders and all went down to hell. ;-)
