Looking for where everyone who's brainstorming constructive ideas on CW is submitting them to PGI because after a recent post reply I just got to thinking about and would like to provide some suggestions. Some obvious, some not.
Maps
We need a lot more maps - at least one for each planet where battles occur.
One suggestion is to just copy all the maps from MW2, Ghost Bear's Legacy, and MW2 Mercenaries and remake them with the Cryengine.
Game Modes
Bases in Assault for main planets need to be believably large, at least as large as some bases like we saw in MW3 or MW4 (and I hate mentioning MW4).
Conquest mode can be fleshed out by having different types of resources being captured:
Warehouses (ammo & weapons), buildings (weapons R&D facilities for example, or base HQ's to capture enemy command personnel), mines and oil rigs, that sort of thing.
It would be intersting if some resources were traveling until captured, like a convoy carrying mechs, ammor, and/or weapons.
New game modes can be implemented such as "Mission: Assassination" (an idea I got from MW2 Mercenaries mission called "Blood For Blood.")
When the teams spawn the person in the slowest mech is the High Value Target. The other team's mission is to kill the HVT.
To mix it up, each team can have an HVT, both HVTs need to get from point A to point B without being killed.
If one HVT is killed the session continues until either the remaining enemy HVT is killed or makes it to the safe point: into a waiting dropship or hardened base.
The session ends when either both HVTs are killed or both make it to destination safely.
A simplified version of that would be just one team has an HVT that the other team has to kill.
This is nothing compared to what I'm sure others have come up with but I want to add to that collective community.

Go to your nearest beach...
Write it in the sand.
To make sure they get it.. put a note in bottle and then throw as hard as you can... please note I'm not responsible for your littering fine.

I don't think they really want to hear players suggestions, I believe they already have decided the way they want to game to be developed out otherwise we wouldn't have 3rd Person View

What's sad is that method sounds infinitely more effective than anything these forums have ever tried.

Visualize paul in a mech mankini....
Tell him all you want to see in community warfare
Congratulations you are now off the island and part of the silent majority.
Ps. Don't forget to tell him that you agree with the trebuchet meta.

I do actually think that quite a few people at PGI (not all, but quite a few) pay attention to player comments and suggestions.
I am not sure however that player suggestions for CW are going to be useful though as it's been literally years since we were told it was coming in a couple of months. There are a few great ways to monetize CW that would make it absolutely worth the effort but as none of that seems to be coming either I expect it to show up somewhere around the time when PGI is desperate and utterly without any other options to stay afloat, at which point we'll get a hail Mary version and promises that it'll get more content SOON.

Taking time to consider player suggestions about CW would probably push its' release back another few years. We've already waited a couple years as it is.

try and find the same discarded napkin that the overall design for CW is on. shouldn't be to hard see as how they haven't gotten to far past this point in over 2 years

I always imagined that player suggestions were kept in a dark basement with no stairs, in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet, stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying "Beware of the Leopard".
If you know what i'm talking about consider yourself a frood

You throw it in the trash bin.
Do some psychedelics and play MWO with CW in your trip.
It's the only way you're gonna be playing CW.

My perception in the last 3 years (hell it is this long already?) is that somewhere up the chain at PGI there are sitting people that think they know best in every regard of the game and are stubbornly deaf towards any suggestion (no matter how good) that differs even slightly from their imagination.
Otherwise there is no explanation for the mess UI 2.0 is (after 1.5 years of work on it), for lobbies and private matches coming only now, for Dan and Sean Tracy working on Star Citizen and not on MWO, for CW being postponed further and further and for the general state of the game being a badly optimized beta of the core gameplay (which is great by the way, hence I am still here and playing) that is SLOWLY beginning to grow towards a releasable feature complete version.
