Awesome as always! B-) Don't know why IGP doesn't have you do so ad cameos of the new 'Mechs that debut in MWO...? Like from the perspective of Fisher giving his editorial perspective of each 'Mech, from the 3050's "future".

I don't know why either.
But I also don't worry about it.
I do this kind of stuff for the fans who have been awesome! :)

Thanks! And.. well,... yeah.
Someone has to. :)

So much potential being underutilized, IMHO.

Sometimes my wilfe looks at me strangly. "Honey, there's more to life than Solaris." Frankly it's like she speaks another language the words make sense individually, but put them together and it's complete nonsense

I have a Duncan Fisher ship AI in a ff novel (TOG In Space over on the Star Citizen forums) that has used a mangled version of that one:

So, when are you going to move me into an Idris Cruiser?”

What would I want that for? It's too big. Not interested.”

You know, sometimes it seems like we are speaking a different language... I mean the words each make sense on their own, but together it's complete gibberish.”

By the way, I intro the AI with:

I settle into the pilot's chair and lay the chip with my AI software onto a connection pad. Okay, it isn't a truly smart, self aware AI, but it has an exhaustive database of serious and not so much so info, status, and pseudo conversational quips and comments, professionally voice recorded by the guy who played the “famous” voicecaster Duncan Fischer from my favorite pastime game. The programs loads and a flat voice announces, “Spacecraft Voice companion with George Ledoux. To install, say 'Install'.”

Install.”

The voice changes to the more familiar one, “Do you want a complete install, or the more complex version of the whole thing for morons who think 'complete' and 'the whole thing' are different?”

I do hope you aren't offended, been a big fan for a long time.

Offended? Hell no, I'm truly honored you enjoyed the character that much. I actually remember when you first posted this a while back. That would be cool if they could sneak Duncan Fisher into Star Citizen like that, wouldn't it? I love those little insider jokes.

Thanks William, glad you enjoy DF's shenanigans. I'd be terrible at doing real, actual tournament commentary as I'm just a voice actor who needs a script to read from. But the guys they have know the game, the mechs and they will get better and better, you'll see! :(

Hmm... mebbe I'll write a script for Duncan Fisher to read off of. "Recap of the First Round"! Complete with snippets of video from the contest!

Could probably create one for each of the rounds too. Might be a fun project.

Psst... Mr Ledoux. Cool is being released 5/29. :(
