I took a break from this game, about a year. When i played the in-game mechlab was the beta one, where you could click on parts of the mech and it would jump around.

Is there anyway to get the old ingame mechlab back? or am I going to have to get used to the new one?

The old mechlab is gone forever. You will need to get used to this new one. It takes a lot more clicks, but after some effort, it is useable. Thankfully, they seem to be trying to work in a smurfy's-style mechlab functionality. It'll probably be some time, though, so my recommendation is to work it out in smurfy's, and then use the UI2.0 mechlab to assemble what you've created elsewhere. Sad, yes, but the new mechlab is still a work-in-progress.

Get used to the new one.

you have Diagram where you can see a Smurfy-ish Loadout.

In your Mechlab is a Filter, where you can set 'purchaseable' and dont need to go to the store to buy new mechs, cause in the Store you dont see loadouts.

All in all this UI could use some work, but thats it.

Just buy a 'Mech and don't customize it.

Then you can play stock Matches with us on Mon/Wed
