Then came the Clan race, so that overhaul was put aside.
Probably 90% of the existing chassis will be changed on their specs (for balance) and hitboxes (for accuracy).
And this will happen in the next few months.
When it does happen, you will probably feel frustrated about the 'Mechs you bought. Much like it has happened to the Victor (all those treads you may see around those 'Mechs are due to those changes).
So, a little advice to all the new players:
Do not spend C-Bills (much less MC) on 'Mechs in the next few months if you don't want to risk feeling "robbed" when those 'Mechs get changed by PGI.
Use and play with the trial ones, get to know all the weight classes and be patient.
Edit - As a note - The trial 'Mechs change regularly every 15 days.
