If you just want to get the "basics" for the mastery,
you can fit it with anything even with most useless weapons.
However, if you want to keep it, even if just till you get it mastered,
I urge you to try 2ERLLs and 2MG. You can pull it of with a STD200 even.
It only requires double heatsinks and endo-steel.

I had an XL275 laying around from a Shadowhawk 5M. I built this:
XL275, 3 JJ, SRM6 (1 ton ammo), 2 MG (1 ton ammo), 2 ML, Endo, FF, 13 SHS.
Now, it's not cheap if you don't have the XL275 laying around, but otherwise it's effective without DHS.

I'm running my 4x with an XL195, twin Lpulse, twin mg, ams with 3 heat sinks and a single jj in the CT. Works great for adding firepower to the assault line, defending your lurmers or skirmishing and hunting lights. Main thing with this build is you are very definitely not a scout, no ECM and a top speed of 99.2 with mastery, but Lpulses have less heat so you can put out damage more consistently without waiting for heat to drop from the ERs.
Not to take away from the twin ER ravens, its how i run my 3L, along with a tag

If your trying to go cheap on ravens, Why not use the XL210 that comes with the 3L, it is almost as fast, and you get way more weapons..
