One of the bigger frustrations I've had through all the U.I's was searching for a piece of equipment that I know I have, but I don't know what mech it is on.
I'd like to see a search function in inventory and/or mechlab to look for a piece of equipment. (XL300 Engine, Seismic Sensor Module, Gauss Rifle)
And have it return with all instances of the equipment you own: Inventory, CN9-YLW (name), VTR-9B (name).
Perhaps going even further would be the ability to remove it from the mech it's installed on from that function. (Autosaving that mech's loadout.)

Hehehe....
You know I actually thought 'Inventory' would list out the full inventory of what you own.
Later found out that Inventory does not list items installed in mechs. *faceplam moment.

How sad is this that we are basically forced to suggest trivialities, which just continuously keep escaping PGI's design capabilities...
And lol Shinvector, I've had similar experience. I haven't been able to increase my moneys for a while because I'm forced to buy a 5M module/engine every two weeks, because I can't find the ones I have.
Even though pay2win has not been the problem with MWO (IMHO consumables etc. don't bring MWO that far), how funny is it that pay2win is finally introduced to the game by a horrendous UI, where things simply get lost and have to be rebought.
