How about if reporting another player in-game costs 1MC?
PGI only gets around to stuff when it's a pay-for-feature, so this way we all get what we want.

So many people need to be reported for griefing and team killing but, it's sad that the person who gets team killed has the burden of going through all the nonsense to report them. So in the end you get team killed or your time wasted and then even more time wasted trying to report them.
It doesn't matter anyway, I reported a disco bot that was auto suicide disconnecting for like a week straight and they didn't do anything. He ended up in one of the top spots of the "medium vs the world" tourney thing, more than likely using some kind of cheat.

the ingame report option would take 2 second to do. one to right click the name on the battlereport and one to click the reason for reporting.

I am completely serious. PGI has made promise after promise to include basic features like this and after two years of waiting I'm sick of being polite. They do not care. They already have our money so the only features they add now are features that you must spend money to receive (more hero 'mechs and such). I will continue to mock them for all their failed and ignored promises until they start to show even the slightest bit of shame for their continued dishonesty and/or incompetence.
As a side note, I do consider this to be a kid's game. It's giant robots shooting at each other after all.
