guys, im useing a saitek x65f throttle ad joystick with the combat peddles and was haveing a hell of a time with the game!!
ended up just useing the throttle and mouse with peddles to turn the mech, way better!!!!
bottom line, keybord and mouse is the way to go!!!! at least the mouse for torso movement, nothing beats it
ill have some pics up soon of my flight simulator or "mech pit" as you guys call it i have been working on it now for two years and its 99% done!!!

EASY FIX... Program your controller for left hand use ONLY, and use your mouse for Aiming, Firing, and weapons groups.
It eliminates the use of the Right ThumbWheel completely, and you get the best of both worlds, as your Left ThumbWheel is dedicated to W.A.S.D., shoulder triggers for commands, and D-Pad for commands.
I started doin that when the original COD Modern Warfare in 2007, and for a few years after that I RETIRED (7) servers over the years at the #1 slot for PC, dedicated servers.. SEVEN
It can eliminate the Keyboard completely if you program your controller correctly, and you still get to use your mouse for aiming, firing and weapons groups.
FYI, after a year of doing this a guy invented the Split Fish for console games using the same type of idea...
FYI, it costs me $20.00 a year to do this...
