So we just finished our first stock mech monday for EU players - and despite we were a little low on players it was really fun.

First thing to acknowledge: downing an Atlas is quite a task.

Second: every mech has it's role - even a locust! Ok, the locust's role was to count the weight for the rest (my atlas weighs 5 locusts) but still :)

This was really a blast, and we all hope we get a mode or at least some kind of mutator for stock matches.

And beside a single 12 year old who ran away in skirmish mode because he was the last against two mechs (seriously? in a private match? man...) and let 15 people wait for a new match this was a really nice evening.

I hope we see more of stock matches :(

It was really good too play some good old mech stomping , no silly meta no high alpha builds or poptarting just good old school mech battles most fun I have had in a long time and yes a Atlas is something too fear but all mechs had there roles now something that is missing from the normal game hope we get more players soon.

Argh! I didn't know it was on or I'd have joined you.

I'll try to make it next week if it is going to become a regular thing.

As far as I know there is another on Wednesday and I hope they expand this over more days of the week. It was really good I mean it was like Table top in real time. Like we played base assault where one team attacked the other defended and it took some serious tactics too take the base down. Like we had too use A k2 too first take out the Missiles turrets then the 2 Jenners for harrasment finally using the brunt of our assault too push in too finally win but even that it was a really close game.

It sounds like everything I hoped it would be. I'll look in on Wednesday night then. :(

I bet this gets moved. To http://mwomercs.com/...ty-run-events/. But that being said it was smart to post it first here.
