While on my 5th (and final drop that I can stomach) drop of the evening, my teammate and I were split into separate lances, despite being grouped together.
I don't have the patience to try to reproduce it, but we were both running JR7-Fs. Not really sure what other information might be pertinent to this one.

Did anyone become Commander and move players around on your team without you noticing? I've never had my lance/group broken up except for the times some player decided to take Commander and stupidly move people around at random...

No. The other team had a commander, but we did not.
