Well my in game comms have quit. For what ever reason no hot key works to activates my mike.

1. No, it is not the mike.. Windows, TS and Skype work
2. Yes I have ran the patch tools
3. Yes VOIP is activated
4. I do remap my keys

I have no idea of what to do next

I too have been having this issue since the feature became available. Mic shows fine in audio properties. Works fine in TS, and other games. Tried it on both versions of DirectX.

Tried all the aforementioned fixes as you did.

Windows 7 Ult.
Via/AMD audio chipset on an Asus mother board.

Would be nice if an echo test was added into the setting for the VOIP. Seems odd that is was left out. Most games and software these days have one to check audio functionality and quality.
