In fairness I am sure that he was speaking of the data we were supposed to have access to. It is possible that as far as he knew that was the case, and someone else entirely flipped the bits or whatever.

It is streaks as well tried the new mech and streak damage was abysmal. 4 streaks.
smells of an outsider hack job on PGI.

LRM Artemis boat here. Although using TAG, my damage is halved (at least !)

Fix approximately will be when?

Any news on when a fix is going to be applied? I finish work in an hour and going to be miffed if I can't enjoy some MWO when I get in!

I had a dream last night was playing MWO with a friend in a stalker missile boat, I was in my catapult, anyways he gets into position and fires and suddenly his mech flings itself backwards at high speed, flies out of bounds and blows up. I turned to look at where he was and there's an LRM salvo just sitting there, hovering in midair. Then a treb rushes me, it's one of the new hero trebs with the funny paint job and the SRMs and streaks, I try to evade and run back to the rest of my team, they meet me half way and we're left staring at another set of SRMs and streaks and just hovering there, AMS is firing like wild but not having any effect and then some bozo in a DDC without ECM walks through the missles and gets cored, started to laugh and then I woke up laughing.

Hopefully not a premonition of things to come...

Please note PGI this patch also broke Standard SRMs as well.

, I just hope it was not a hack attempt to get purchasing info or something a lot of that going around lately to businesses. I am sure they will get to the bottom of it. I patched the game last night went online bough the treb hero then logged off until this AM w/o playing. This Morn MY Comp crashed while I was playing had to restart then a Hard restart to get back into the game was giving a server offline message but friends in teamspeak said it was still online. LRM's , Srms, streaks, = weak damage-.
I was able to eventually rejoin the game.

Keep in mind that in this possible situation, the mechs that are sent flying from the stationary missiles will scale their damage based on the mech's maximum flight range. So, a flying Stalker will only deal maximum damage at max range and will deal zero damage at point-blank range, assuming that they've applied Clan Mech flight damage to all mechs. If, however, they are using separate values for IS and Clan flight damage, it is hard to say what you'll get. Long story short - expect to see the above in a future patch, I fear...

Yeah shot 2160 LRM rounds out of my 4x Artemis LRM15 HGN-733, and did 188 damage, majority of targets that were fired on were under observation and TAG ... I did more damage with my 6x LRM 5 CPLT-A1 with same amount of ammo ... on River City, with targets frequently ducking behind buildings and no TAG ... friggin weird ... no observable logic to the disparity in damage from my perspective (purely observational, in the past I've done this much damage in this mech and then in this match I did this much).

EDIT: The A1 did not have Artemis LRM's maybe that's a reason for the disparity.

Each patch seems to have a major issue affecting enjoyment and gameplay. Combine this with the delays to core features we have been waiting for is becoming excessive. If it wasn't for the good friends I have made in the community and the efforts of Karl and Niko I would be close to a rage quit. Russ/PGI please continue to update us on any of these issues. What he community thinks up between the problem and a announcement is putting out the fire with gasoline while roasting marshmallow effigy's of PGIs.

Truth: PGI sucks at object oriented programming. The words "function" and "main" are mutually inclusive to them.

Otherwise, how on earth would Clan LRM changes affect IS missiles?

And why on earth do all missiles share the same functions?

Does copy/paste not work at PGI?

Dont get me wrong since in real life I am TAC system test, so pain, headache and nervous breakdowns are my normal state of mind. But every upgrade also have downgrade ready so please revert and do internal investigation.

When You fix this as a reward I will show you screenshot of Mech that can go through solid ground and fly in space around Manifold (without jump jets). (float in space between the stars like Major Tom)

There must be something wrong with damage recognition at all. Today I shot a Firestarter with the AC20 of my Yen Lo Wang and destroyed 3 components with that one shot. An arm, a sidetorso and a leg in one shot. After that I shot the slow moving target with my AC20 another 4 times and with my 2 ML another 5 times.

I destroyed 3 components with 20 damage and then 130 damage wouldn't kill the center with 44 armor max?

Where did you shoot it originally? In the Leg? Because if you destroyed that Leg, any excess damage would go to the side torso, and if that got destroyed too, the arm would go with it. Plus, it's possible it had MG ammo stored somewhere and you got an ammo explosion. And if that first AC20 happened to roll a 3x crit, it would have done a crapload of damage.

It's probably chained to the Flamer code... because possibly "someday" we'll get Inferno missiles...
