okay. I personally think that Private games was a major thing, but like a bratty kid at X-mas, the gaming community will always want more. And I have to agree with them on the point that Forcing at least 2 of the players to have premium time in order to do a private match is just a solid ruin to a good thing.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who was angered/saddened/made-to-want-to-commit-suicide by this restriction, as a Clanner. the private games made it so that we could have our trials without angering people and having them moan to the Game Masters about us. But again, not everyone has 100$ to blow on a year of Prem time.

Add to this there are maps that are generally disliked by players (IE Tara Therma and River City Night) So, if you game developers truly and honestly want money that much. Then why not allow players to buy your own server. The base game would run on PGI's servers. with the games them self's running on the owned server, this could be for public or private use, Yes I'm referring to Battle Field 3/4 on this. But truly, this gives people a bit more in the way of say of how things work.

Now, before people go ape on me, I'm going to say this now, What I am talking about is a sub-server which dose map rotation, balance and team making off PGI's server, then sends the data to PGI's server were it implements the game for the players on that 'server'.

Naturally this would give those 'No 3/3/3/3' people, there own servers were they can abuse assaults all they want, and not ruin it for the PUG's. But it would also give the server admin the ability to add/remove maps onto the rotator. it'd also be good for private groups who want to play by themselves with other people in that group.

This is totally open to tweaking by people who can put this into words better then myself. But really. Unless the Prem requirement for Private games is lifted soon. I'm going to be a very sad panda and no one wants that right?

Actually, since matches are small like counterstrike matches. And since we do not have any MMO features, like auctions and stuff. Small own "match" servers would be nice. by this we would be able to have matches in Europe with better latencies. Except from the Mechlab and the characters inventory, there is no real need that matches have to be done on a central server.

look at Team Fortress 2. Your laodoud and all is in the cloud, and yet you play on dedicated server.
