All I can say is he put it out there in writing. With that said and the faults of 2013 (thanks for acknowledging some past mistakes) this seems like an all in move worthy of greatness or utter failure. Fall 2014 is a big deadline now... you can't really walk back CW again and expect to have a big playerbase left. To this end I look forward to the future hopeful but have to remember that if Fall drops with the same situation of this past year..Star Citizen will probably be getting my extra cash. STO turned it around at year 3 and I am hoping this does the same.

To this end... thanks Russ for for putting yourself out there and Nikolai thanks again for documenting it.

I am far from a white knight in these forums but I do respect people who admit their mistakes in my professional and personal life. This Reddit was of a higher caliber than most (especially since some game companies make promises on their own forums and then the posts "magically" disappear while a 3rd party forum like Reddit provides more buffering from such action)... and to that end I appreciate it.

Well, Russ set a "drop dead date". If what is produced is "unacceptable", well, it was nice playing with you all.

I think it was really good of them to do. Just reaching out and hearing about things was nice. You can't just let PR take a backset and owning up to your mistakes goes a long way the first time. I'm much more willing to give them time and I was very very happy to hear the PGI was fiscally healthy.

mehh.. He could take 5 mins a day and slum it to these forums to reply to the hot topic of the day. People would appreciate it, may warm up to him a little and not have to face the annual firing squad.
