I have saved a lot from my last job, and I have years of mechwarrior games NOT do buy so I can finally do it now.

My wife freaked too a bit, 120 dollars for a game! But it is my money So whatever (She makes more than I do so she cant complain too much.)

Well, today is my 65^th birthday, and my youngest son and his girlfriend gave me $60.00 for the Elite pack, and my wife gave me the additional $60.00 for the Legendary pack. So, Happy Birthday to me !!!

Now, all you "youngsters" can, bend way over, tuck your head far between your legs, and kiss your butt goodbye ! I WILL burn you down !

I see this more as a kickstarter than anything else. As with kickstarter there are those that can contribute more and those that cant. With all of us doing what we can for MWO and Piranha we are working to ensure the success of this game am community. Things like being active in the forums and working on community sites also contribute to the cause in a different way. Hopefully they are able to raise the money they need to get this game off to the start it deserves!

Good Luck to Piranha from all of us that have your back at whatever level we can afford!

This is how I view it as well. This is a game a lot of us would have paid someone to make a long time ago. And frankly between rent in downtown DC, food costs, medical bills, cable + internet (**** that's more than 120 right there), electrical bills, pool fees, gym fee's, and all the other monthly nonsense I have to pay 120 bucks is easy tos pare.

All I know is I don't need gold bars under my name to kick @$$ in a mech. If you can afford it, cool. Some can't. I might still buy a set of blue bars to get into beta, but either way I'll make it hell for you on the battlefield.

After my wife left the house with my CC in her hand...and laughing as she left, I logged into my CC/Bank account and got my number that way, purchased an Elite package but now I feel as though I need to upgrade to the Legendary.

PS: As she drove back into the driveway I stood in the garage door laughing my *** off. She knew that I had done the deal, now its that cold here I need my winter cloths.

Love this attitude, you don't need any of the Founders packs to enjoy this game just as much as those who can afford it.
