Yes, there are female players.

No, it is mostly not a good thing to declare one self as such.

For whatever reason, women who openly admit to be one, have to face a lot of abuse and dirty talk, they wouldn't recieve if they had stayd quiet about it. I do not know, why some males believe that women want to be abused over the internet, but somehow this got on their mind and it leads to all kinds of ugly situations.

For this reason such a call-out thread is really not a good idea.
