Have you be able to set up a private match to do the same? it would be interesting to know if the same behavior is possible outside of the training grounds (at work, no play, dull boy).

On a different note... even if they hot fix this and "fix" IS tech, could this be a tell tale sign of things to come for clan missiles? I hope they prevent that problem before clan mech release.

Monday most likely.

I was too pissed off to do real testing at my own expense, with my premium time draining during this whole fiasco. Two days right down the drain. :D

Don't think I've seen you mad at the developers before

Splash was never turned off. They simply made it 5 cm.

Fair enough, but that is essentially off in normal gameplay.

This is how the cLRMs are going to work when you fire them inside their min range. Instead of just bouncing like IS LRMs.

But... BUT... PAUL SAID... The missile code wasn't touched!!!!!!!!!!!
. . . . . . . . . . . . .

Can we at least have HSR turned off for missiles and splash code on SRMs only reverted to closed beta level, damage set to 2.5 and missile flight pattern set to closed beta in->out->in?

Don't think I've seen you in blue before.

I get disgruntled frequently enough. Unhappy (bad decisions) and frustrated (PGI faces the realization that something they did doesn't work; solution? Make it even more convoluted instead of throwing it out and taking a different approach) tend to be more common.

According to steel jags on reddit, and my own guild until they stopped playing in disgust, it's just as bad in normal gameplay.

Greetings MechWarriors,

As you may be aware, a bug affecting missiles was discovered after yesterday's patch. We have tracked down the issue, which had been affecting LRMs, SRMs and Streaks. A fix has been made and is currently undegoing an internal test before we release it in a hot fix.

Please note that this particular hot fix will require a game restart and patch from the players. Those in a match during the hot fix may lose connection.

The hot fix is scheduled for 6:30PM PDT / 9:30 PM EDT / 12:30 AM UTC

Can you also fix whatever is up with window glass/film grain? It seems to be intermittently on or off.

edit: seems to be working for awhile now

PGI, are you reading? Some of your most ardent supporters are beginning to display their displeasure. No communication, again, no 3/3/3/3, no Command Chair, no legitimate update about anything anywhere. Millions of dollars put into this game by those of us who expect you to put together what you told us -not promised, told- you were going to put together. You have thousands, tens of thousands, remaining here who want to throw money at you. Where are you at, PGI?

Thanks PGI! Look forwarding to having balanced missiles back. Any chance we are going to get an explanation of what happened?

Yeah, about the same chance as Community Warfare showing up with this hotfix.

They have a command chair. The Nigerian prince is sitting in it.

It's a fun scam, though.

I feel sorry for you all once SRM's are working again.

You'll be begging PGI to turn them off. Long for the days when LRM's and SRM's were dysfunctional.
