still not working for me, I'm going to uninstall and re-install again.

Add another Aussie to the list who cannot login due to"server maintenance" yet there are a dozen in my merc unit who have successfully logged in.

Please explain and fix it asap.

So was there some sort of hot patch to fix the stuff they broke, or what? I had a patch, but I don't see any announcements here on the forums. Would be good to broadcast this sort of thing loud and proud because we've had all our clan mates quitting out of frustration in the last 48 hours after a couple or three games.

Let the people know you actually fixed something PGI!

I don't think PGI even knows about it yet. One person in this thread whom it wasn't working for has since said it started to work for them. For me, still no. Remember to send a support ticket so PGI wakes up with a ton of these messages.

Still working for me, had to patch but even had a timeout due to inactivity and could still log in. Made no changes, just surfed and played other games (STO and TF2) before decided to try one more time. No idea why.

You too jonesy! Pain in the butt this is. Lodged ticket nearly 12 hours ago and they havn't even acknowledged receiving it, still cant log in

That's what i did last night and have only received the automated response.

If there is another way please tell me?

EDIT: Found the ticket area, seems they raised one for me from the email i sent.

Hello everyone. Resident Internet guy here.

What looks like is happening is the Australia/Oceanic servers are not getting refreshed; and I would like to confirm this before I band-aid so I can solve this once and for all.

If your ISP uses a proxy, they may not respecting our CDN headers for 'freshness' of files. We'll refresh the files but if this does not solve your issue, could you please traceroute from your computer to patcher.mwomercs.com and post the results here.

Let us know if our refresh did not work in the next 7-20 minutes.

The refresh has now propagated. Again, run a traceroute if our forced refresh didn't work for you.

This version of the process worked for me. The one I tried eralier said I didnt have to change the ipv6 settings.

Anyway guys here it is. IT WORKS.

The Google Public DNS IP addresses (IPv4) are as follows:

  • 8.8.8.8
  • 8.8.4.4

The Google Public DNS IPv6 addresses are as follows:

  • 2001:4860:4860::8888
  • 2001:4860:4860::8844

You can use either number as your primary or secondary DNS server. You can specify both numbers, but do not specify one number as both primary and secondary.


You can configure Google Public DNS addresses for either IPv4 or IPv6 connections, or both.

I got the the end of the reinstall only for it to say the downloaded files are corrupted, 2 hours wasted
