Something like this maybe? ER for long range and ML for close range. Keep the same type of weapon in the same slot for better convergence. Very good mobility and survivability. I shall christen it..."The Dot".

Standard 350 Engine
22 Double Heat Sinks
Use of PPC vs ER PPC is intentional - it helps you remember that you shouldn't be using your PPCs and Medium Lasers at the same time.

downside to this, and every banshee is being the lest mobile mech in the entire game. Fair tradeoff in some ways, for the hardpoints..... except the lack of arm weaponry means that any decent ember pilot is gonna nom on your kneecaps for breakfast, and up close, as best, (the 3S) you will have all of ONE gun able to hit him. the e and M? None.
but yeah, I tend to use the 6 mlaser and 2 ppc, with a 400 XL, and maxi armor. End up with a little spare tonnage, but eh.....

7 MPLs, XL400 and 1 LPL. Nearly max DHS at 23, and 10 points shy of max armor.
Melt the faces of anyone who opposes you with an alpha of 52.6 damage. Over 100 damage in 5 seconds.

You can fire twice without heat issues. Good luck after that.

I'll face the Wubshee with El Maton anyday. Because it actually has agility and arm weaponry, lol.

Challenge accepted. Nothing has beaten the WubShee in a duel as of yet. Meta needs focus fire to be most effective, yet this can blow an Atlas' arm off in two salvos. Let alone a Dragon Slayer.
Of course, its utility ends at 1 VS 1. Too hot to handle more than two at once, and even that is iffy. But it will melt your face, or melt trying.
Aside from that...isn't the 400XL more agile than the LM with a 380? Minimally, but non the less.

Decently fast, and you should have enough DHS to use PPC + LL at long range and ML + LL at close range.

look at the chassis stats. Engine will give you more speed, but your torso rotation...is sadly lacking. For whatever reason, La Malinche is actually decently agile.

But you have to admit that it's painful to pay 21 tons for the equivalent of 6.2 heat sinks (comparing the second Mech to 22 DHS that a DHS version could carry).

This 3M is fairly fast, AND it is good with heat. What you give up in frontloaded Alpha, you more than make up for with DPS. This mech can sustain a good rate of fire and get you out of a tight spot if it gets too hairy. With a heat efficiency of 1.4, it is a lot easier to avoid overheating. If you are good with heat discipline, you can even swap out an arm heatsink to put another med laser in the head.
It might not seem like enough firepower, but you would be amazed at how much damage you can put out when you don't have to worry about overheating that much.

Try to keep distance between you and the enemy, range will make up for bad sustained damage, don't be afraid to fire all 4 ERLL at once when you have an opportunity to deal all that damage to the one spot, use 2+1 when up close (or multiclick chainfire button).
