Shouldn't be the mercenaries working for the existing factions for money?

Finished 69th without LRM, Air/Art or any consumable for that matter, and all but 4 matches played in Mediums and my QKDs. I played 2 matches in the free TDR-5S we got awhile back, 1 in a FS9, and 1 in the trial VTR-9S (C).

I was 7th last night when I stopped playing and ended up 10th in Davion. Some guys worked pretty hard at the end there, congrats to them. Still not a bad result for a Raven though.  
But I must say that I really prefered the Medium vs the World one with leaderboards for different chassis/weight classes. Right now it's mostly Dragonslayers at the top.

I think I broke 100 at some point - after a few weeks of running my bigs, I went back to my little mechs, focusing on Ember. Wow, I always forget how quickly those 4 MGs chew through things.

i didn;t really have a lot of time to spend this time around so just played enough matches to make sure i got the hula girl maybe 15 total cause i lost count the first day. was generally having bad results til i switched over to the old faithful streaktaro and 3 or 4 good matches before i stopped playing.

good to see the lone wolves rally from our second to last place finish in the first one.

Had fun with the LRM heavies and Assaults, Battlemaster 1S, Stalker 3F, and the Jagermech A. The stalkers I purchased over the weekend and it is now time for a third stalker. I did fairly well with a stalker filling out the basics and I was getting jenner, spider and commando kills with the lasers. That surprised me on how I could hit the Lights in the stalker, but have such a hard time in the other assaults. I do not even have the elites opened up yet.

I did have to break out the Huggin for some fun though. I was surprised at how fast they burn through armor. Normally I swoop in and pick up the pieces or secure the kills.


One item I would look at is using maybe more than the top 50 scores for community warfare.

Maybe take a look at the top 200 players in each faction and see the ELO brackets that they are in. I just have a hunch that some lower ELO bracket players may be in the top 200. Then again, I ran mostly Assaults and I know that I am a lot better in anything other than a light. Play style is different and I do not see any of the names I normally do when playing Mediums, heavies and assaults. Sometimes I am the only LRM boat for miles around and then I know I was on a good winning streak and just about to start a losing streak.


One match With an ECM commando really impressed me Monday. He attacked two Stalkers that were all alone just by himself. He took both of us out of the fight until I got him with Lasers about 4 minutes later. At that point we had a cicada with no weapons tracking a Catapharct with one leg and only ML's left. They had 11 on 10 for those four minutes and a good call by the commando pilot on Alpine. Hats off to him, his name started with an A is all that I can remember. He also got the other stalker down to 79 % and I ended the game at 95%. He was using each of us as shields from the other after we got 200 m away from each other.

What's the point of being so prohibitive? Why can't you OPT IN AT ANY POINT WHILE THE TOURNAMENT IS STILL GOING ON? Or better yet, auto-opt-in? I missed this because it was Memorial Weekend and you PGI people don't advertise your challenges well at all. I'm extremely upset right now. Thanks again for screwing things up.

Finished #50 [1942 points] for Lone Wolves (in previous Faction Tournament I was #43) - I just could not break more than 4 kills in a match during this period. Previous Faction Tournament I managed one match with 6 kills, and two or so times with 5 kills.

Stalker-Misery = Maxed at 2 kills (but I did headshot a Highlander during a hugging match on HPG)
Jagermech-Firebrand = Maxed at 4 kills
Spider-5K = Maxed at 4 kills
Raven-3L = Maxed at 4 kills


Once again, Liao came in last. Dead last.

whoa 496? i was 300ish and i played mostly my stock Hunchies 4H and 4J on a 10 fps laptop. (yeah thanks PGI, for my free premium day without noticing me as i'm only having my 250€ laptop with me.

*not that i'm not happy about free premium time, i really am. but the announcement and the timing was really bad, i'd rather have known beforehand, that i'd get a free day of premium once i locked in.*

why one house? lonies and mercs could be used to fill up the teams (or the other way around). if they'd get rid of one house spread over both teams i'd be perfectly fine with it.

I came back to MWO about 2 or 3 months ago, played almost every day till I took a break last week (matchmaker just showed how much he loved me, so I needed some time off before I try to murder him ). Returning today a seeing I missed my chance to get a free Hula Girl certainly brightens my mood...
