Is anyone else still seeing inconsistent event start dates/times between all the places this has been copied, and no opt-in option anywhere?
I'm seeing start dates like "Friday March 21st at 10:00am PDT" (!??)

I think it would be nice to have known about this at least a week before so people don't miss out on the opt-in.

I know in the last one, only drops done solo counted, but I can't seem to find where this one states solo only... maybe I'm going blind. Usually play with friends on the weekend, but may have to find time to do 10 solo matches if that's the case for the free hula girl

When are these things going to get one of the two most obvious changes?

1 - Leave it solo-only but make a separate queue for tournament opt-in launches so that tourney players don't screw over everyone else (given how the scoring system does not incentivize team play).

2 - Allow matches to count even if you are in a drop with others (in the 1-4 queue only, not in 12s).

Nice, but a little late in the announcing; most of the tournament time is blocked by social events... Winning 10 matches should work though. Time to give the old DD a preflight checkup...

Finish the tournament you already got going BEFORE you start another one. And most importantly ... if you claim to run that tournament during the NA prime time to actually be able to monitor it ... then friggin do monitor it.

I admit I like these more community orientated events quite a lot (even if everything allways could be better....cw etc. pp;)) and I appreciate the chance to side with my fellow factionists and challenge "the other scum" in tournament style matches (battle honours will be my only reward again;)).

Whats raining on my parade is the fact that champions/hero mechs do not get counted seperatly but with all the others of their weight class. I think it as a bit unfair in respect to those pilots using a non-hero mech for whatever reason.

I would prefer it if hero-mechs had their own ranking and would not be counted like as the "normal" chassis of a weight class.

I for one am a dedicated pilot of light mechs, and here the Raven 3L as my exclusiv favorit. But beside any skills and luck considerations for example a firstarter-hero-mech has a clear advantage as built. I am not backing up from it anyway but would like to see the basic tournament frame more balanced and the weightclass ranking more differentiated.

May be pgi could consider this in ernest for any of the future challenges.
