I would like to see a huge map like ARMA 2 and 3 were you can resupply and take over certain areas. That would make this game interesting and a new game play.
A Huge Sandbox

It'd be awesome.
But yes. That would be a completely different game.
On the plus side MW:Living Legends, a fan made mod, still runs on limited servers even if updates by the group that started it have been ceased by court order. It's essentially a large respawn sandbox with levels 3 to 4 times larger than the largest ones here, with tanks, mechs, and aerotech fighters. You can also leave the mech.

I'd like to see something like this, or at least an Alterac Valley type of map. Where different parts of the map require different tactics and yield different resource gains. Capturing and holding choke points to cut off the routes to the resources points on a grand scale of around 24-30 mechs on each side. Resources could be for in-map repair and rearm so if a Mech is destroyed you use those points to respawn or select a different mech from a loaded stable. When a side runs out of points it will be easy to be overwhelmed. The end goal would be to capture the enemy base at the far opposite side of the map.
