While I understand the purpose of going with the 3/3/3/3 team, I don't completely agree with it. At least not as rigidly as they're describing.

But where it really breaks down is when they apply it to a 2-4 man group. Now it's 1/1/1/1, and that's just too restrictive.

We're going into a 12 man team, why are the 2-4 of us so heavily restricted? The rest of the team is made up of single players, surey they can be selected to balance the team. If there's just two of us, that means we can never both go out in heavy mech, or lights, or whatever. Sometimes it is fun to go out in the same kind of mech for a change. And this new system is simply going to destroy that basic gameplay experience.

uhh? I believe a four man can take up to 3 of any weight class and one guy in a difference class. So 3/1. Then the fill the rest with PuGs as you describe.
