River City Night (often near pitch black especially in portions of the map)
Frozen City Day (about 50-60% of most matches have that whiteout blizzard thing preventing you from seeing over about 90m)
River City Day (seems occasionally you get it with a fog effect which reduces visibility near as bad as the blizzard. Fairly uncommon though for me so far)
First off many players lose 10-40% of their FPS when using these modes which means for some of those players, these maps are nearly unplayable (if you have say 20 FPS an drop to 15 it hurts bad, or 30 FPS to 20 even.) {I play on a Laptop that admittedly does not quite meet recommended for game, it should get 30-40 FPS if the game was optimized. With the badly optimized game it gets 12-20 FPS (barely playable but manageable) when I use night vision it drops to 7-14 FPS, when I use thermal it drops to 4-8 FPS. And I have seen many others complain on forums/in game so I know its not only me}
Secondly at least in my opinion the alternate vision modes look like crap. I want to see MECHs when I am playing, not green stick figures on a green/black background, or white figures on a gray background.
AND the maps look like crap when not using them too, so you are guaranteed to be playing a terrible looking game.
So what do others feel about the vision modes and what should be done about them?
If you want an option added to a question say something.
