I just booted up my game and played a round, and imagine my surprise when I got a premium time bonus on the after-action report. Apparently I've been awarded 24 hours of premium time, automatically activated.

I'd saved up 8 days' worth of premium time from previous special events, and as far as I can tell, they're still in my bank, unactivated. Has there been a challenge or something that I completed and wasn't aware of? Some sort of achievement that gives a day's premium time that I can't see on my list?

Thank Russ for making it so that your free day of premium time auto-activates on login. I mean... why can't it be banked like every other premium day giveaway?

Ah i was all confused about the free premium time. If its a thanx for last tuesdays {LT-MOB-25} up then that can only be good thing.

Annoyingly im on holiday in ireland and i logged in to see if the internet connection was any good and i had no choice to activate it (do you wish to redeem rewards, no where did i say it was premium time)meaning its gone to waste. If id of known the reward was premium time id of alt-f4'd out.

Can i reverse this?

Ah, I bug reported that.

I was like, "ah hell no I didn't activate premium time and it's sure as hell a lot more than 24 hours". Okay maybe I said it a little nicer than that since I actually wanted it solved lol. Still nice to know though.

Take offense to responses like this. Yes you are allowed your opinion, but still giving us this premium time without even an e-mail to inform us was quite poor. I never look at my counter because I am saving my time for the clan mechs. So like many others I did not realize the clock was ticking until there was very little time left on the clock.

Unfortunately the only way many players found out about this gift was through these forums. My guess is many will not even realize that were given the gift at all.

So while people might disagree with what the gift should have been, and they are allowed their opinion, the execution on this one was way off. Unfortunately I have seen this done before, by EA in Warhammer Online, not the type of company you want to be compared to.

What can you say, Russ' heart is in the right place. He just cant lead his way out of a paper bag. Oh well, everyone should go ahead and buy Clan packages and gold mechs. Just keep your chin up, we should have a playable game in two years or so.
